I had booked a flight ticket from payTM for 9th Jan, 2022 from Kolkata to Bengaluru in Air Asia. The flight was rescheduled by Air Asia and I was eligible for a full refund. PayTM has charged Rs. 764 as airline cancellation charges and Rs. 299 as Paytm handling charges(on top of the convinience fees of Rs. 349).
I spoke to the Air Asia team directly and they have confirmed in email that they have refunded the full amount they had received during the ticket booking. I have screenshots of the mail send by Air Asia and also the recording of my conversation with their customer executive team.
Paytm had charged me Rs. 4795 as bare fare(convience fees charged on top of this amount) and paid Rs. 4031 to Air Asia. Air Asia has refunded Rs. 4031 to Paytm but Paytm is not refunding the full amount of Rs. 4795 to me and stating that 764 has been charged by Air Asia.
I have sufficient evidences to prove that payTM is cheating.
