Text of Complaint by Ankit Roy:

This is in reference to my Airtel Digital Tv account number 3012647229.
My mobile number is 9906717179.
On receiving a call from Airtel Customer Care on 12 Apr 2019, for an offer of plan of Rs 339 per month, for the digital TV account, (which I had not recharged for sometime due to extra high prices), I recharged my account for the same amount, I.e. Rs 339/-. However, on 29 Apr the account was suspended with the reason of low bal.
I was told clearly on 12 Apr that the offer of Rs 339 per month will be valid for 11 months alongwith not charging any fees for reactivation. But while speaking to customer care on 29 Apr for reporting deactivation of account, the customer care executive told that the plan has not been activated and that I have to recharge again.
This is only making a fool out of customer by saying something and doing something else. Being such a reputed firm and such actions, portrays incompetence and lackadaisical attitude towards customers.
Even the customer care executive was not willing to even understand or make speak with manager.
I’ll request you to look in the matter and revert at the earliest please.
