I recently applied for a job on quikr as I was free in my vacations and I get a call from this company named semion Technologies, that you have to do data entry by filling 350 forms in 5 days and you will get the pay 25000 if your accuracy is more than 90% and if it is less than 90% or you fail to complete the task then registration charge of 6900 will be deducted, so I searched on the web about the company nor they asked for any money upfront and they had their own page and all plus the email was also from a company domain, so it seems pretty legit company. But what they do is just scam and make people do their work for free and not pay them anything.
Now I completed the task in 5 days before deadline and when I submitted they said there will be a quality check report to check the accuracy, report came accuracy was less than 90% (which of course was going to be according to their plan) so I was like okay they can deduct the registration charge and give the remaining amount. I was constantly contacting their helpline after the report but no replies and nothing. Two weeks passed I sent them an email telling them that I will report everything to police and also make them viral on internet, now till two weeks they did not contact me, but after the email they suddenly sent me an email saying advocate association telling me that you did not submit the work and you pay amount to us we have your I’d proof your voice recording let’s close this legal matter blah blah like they were trying to threaten me after getting the work done.
I haven’t replied to the email yet but I am planning to say them that I have all the screenshots that I have completed the work and I have received the quality report. Total fraudsters not paying money and asking for more money by threatening people by saying this is legal matter. I am afraid of these cheap fakesters, my father is an influential person and i can easily get them behind bars if they will again use their cheap tactics.
