Text of Complaint by Bhuvaneshwari ArulPrakash:

I ordered Chetna handicraft wooden dressing table for Rs 17,398 through Amazon e-commerce website on 18-Jan-2023. It was delivered to me on 02nd Feb . The actual return window is 10 days. But incorrect return window date reflected on Amazon application was 06th Feb . I contacted amazon customer care and requested them to update the return window to 12-Feb.
They accepted to update it. Please find attached the proof for the same. But they failed to update. After opening the product , I saw it to be totally different color and damaged. But I couldn’t return the product as return window got closed earlier which is purely amazon’s mistake. Now, seller had sent a damaged, different color product which is his fault. And I couldn’t return the product on time since Amazon had closed return window earlier than what it has to be, which is Amazon’s fault. For no fault of mine, I’ve put into lot of stress. It’s been 100 times I contacted amazon to claim refund. But , every time I call, they say they will ask seller to refund and request 72 hours window to resolve. I trust them each time and they never come back and make me frustrated with false promises on comeback. This state brought me now to raise consumer complaint. Please resolve .
