Dear Instamart Support Team,
I am writing to formally escalate a serious complaint regarding my recent order (Order ID: #201793519211822) placed on March 25, 2025. This email serves to highlight multiple issues I have faced, both with the products delivered and the unprofessional behavior of your customer service team.
Order #201793519211822 delivered damaged salt and besan lacking expiry/MRP, violating FSSAI guidelines and consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Legal Metrology Act, 2009. This is a clear deficiency in service and an unfair trade practice. During a call to resolve this, your executive used abusive language and threats, which is unacceptable and violates the Right to be Heard. As per consumer law, I have the right to return these faulty products and receive a full refund. I have filed an FSSAI complaint and escalated this to the consumer court. I demand immediate action against the abusive executive and a prompt resolution.”
### Product Issues:
1. Aashirvaad Iodised Salt (₹24): The product was delivered in a damaged condition.
2. Tata Sampann Besan (Gram Flour) (₹62): The packaging lacks critical information such as the expiry date, manufacturing date, and MRP, which is a clear violation of FSSAI regulations and consumer rights.
These issues are not only disappointing but also raise concerns about your adherence to food safety standards. I have already filed a complaint with the FSSAI, who have acknowledged my report and are investigating the matter. Additionally, I have escalated this issue to the consumer court for further action.
### Customer Service Experience:
I contacted your customer support team multiple times to resolve this issue. However, instead of receiving assistance, I was subjected to abusive language and threats from one of your executives during a call. This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. Furthermore:
– My calls were disconnected repeatedly without providing any resolution.
– Your team failed to address my concerns despite several attempts on my part to seek help.
This experience has been distressing and has severely impacted my trust in your services.
### Resolution Requested:
I demand immediate action on the following:
1. A full refund of ₹248 for the affected items in the order (₹24 for Aashirvaad Iodised Salt and ₹62 for Tata Sampann Besan).
2. An urgent investigation into the misconduct of your customer support executive, with appropriate action taken against them.
3. Arrangements for the return pickup of the products in their original condition and packaging.
Please note that I am retaining the products as delivered for inspection or return purposes. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter within 48 hours to avoid further escalation.
