I never made any transaction of 2450 on my credit card on 20th Jan 2022 but since I was too occupied treating to my wife where she was in hospital I figured this in my bill much later.
Not only that, there is an OTP on my mobile which I am surprised to notice as I am sure I have not made any such transactions and still the hackers could utilise my card and otp to validate this transaction
There are so many complaints of fraud online for same merchant and this callousness of HDFC employees makes me justifiably suspicious of their involvement to dupe the customers of their confidential data and pass it to some hackers for a commission.
Our beloved PM wants India to go cashless and digital… but with these frauds it just makes us apprehensive and loose faith in Indian Banking Sectors.
