Ola offers a post-paid service to all its customers with a balance of Rs. 2000. I have faced multiple such issues while using the post-paid balance. Apparently if one uses this service; Ola decides harass their customers with consistent phone calls and Legal threats.
Angry and yet tired at this consistent harassment I paid my dues in the past and decided never to use Ola Cab Services again. The recent incident, however; was baffling and beyond imagination.

I regret my decision to use Ola services again in the month of August when I faced a medical issue where I needed to visit the doctor immediately. I decided to book an Auto from Ola Cabs. The standard wait time for any Auto booked from Ola Cabs is 2 minutes and the same was mentioned on the App once I booked. I had been standing on the road for over 5 minutes when an empty Auto passed by. I decided to board the same and cancelled by booking mentioning the ‘Driver Was Late’; as my reason.

An unjustified cancellation fee of Rs. 20 was charged on me without reason and the same kept accumulating penalty until today. Since I had not used Ola I was not expecting the same. Since last 3 weeks, I must have received consistent harassment calls regarding my penalty amount which houldnt have been charged in the first place. I would hereby like to mention that my post-paid balance prior to charge of the cancellation penalty amount was Rs. 2000. Currently there is a penalty amount of RS. 150 reflecting on it.

Today was exceptional. I received 20 calls since morning threatening me to pay the penalty amount otherwise a legal action would be taken against me and someone would personally visit my humble aboard to extract money of Rs. 150/- from me. They also mentioned that this will severely impact my CIBIL score.
Let me re-instate that my balance amount on Ola Postpaid was Rs. 2000 out of which an unfair penalty charged by Ola money due to my booking cancellation because their driver as late. This amount of Rs. 20 kept on accumulating penalty and led to consistent harassment. I would like to congratulate Ola cab services for this excellent customer treatment and upon their consistent effort to harass me as I had to finally make the payment today.

Moral of the story: If you value your time and appreciate peace ad goodwill, never use Ola Money!
