On 31st March 2022 a transaction of ₹13999 got debited from my Axis Bank credit card. I had not received any OTP or any intimation of the transaction asking me to confirm or approve the transaction. This monetary transaction happened without my knowledge. It was only after I received the sms notification from Axis Bank credit card department I came to know of the fraudulent activity. I had immediately reported to Axis Bank credit card department to stop the payment and to deactivate my card. The customer care agent on that day assured me that it would be taken care from their end and that thisulant amount which was deducted from my card would not be lived on to me and that I do not have to pay as I am not the defaulter. The transaction amount was done at Retail Domestic as per the sms notification of Axis Bank credit card. At present Axis Bank credit card customer care is putting the blame on me that I had shared my OTP and have allowed the transaction whereas when I logged the complaint on that very day I had already mentioned that I did not receive any phone call or any sms or any OTP which is recorded in their database as all calls are recorded for quality purpose.
