I enrolled as a member of Country Holidays Travel on 9th March 2023.
I was called and invited to a hotel (Starlit Suites Ecity Bangalore) for travel package on 9th March 2023, there this company sales team committed on
They also got an agreement signed that they will be providing us Hotel accomodations in this service (6N/7D if we continue to pay Annual Maintainence Rs. 10000) after making a payment of 2lakh 5 thousand rupees.
I have been reaching out to them since 71 days just to book hotels in Thailand for our upcoming trip. After discussing for 71 days now they say that the offered hotels are not available so we should change our dates. This has been a complete mental harassment as I have invested so much time following up with them and they are not even giving the service for which they took payment. They are making so many people suffer like this, people have posted google reviews expressing their concerns. When I posted a google review today they called and threatened me saying that “If you don’t remove your review, we will not book the hotels”. They are literally looting people of their hard earned money and then they are harassing the customers mentally. Please support to take some action against this company before they loot more and more customers.

  1. Here’s a summary:
    – Their sales team lies tooth and nail to get you to take their membership. They will say things around not paying green tax, speedboat commute, etc when you make an international booking but that is a blatant lie
    – Moreover, the sales team will not showcase the agreement before you give them some token. Here are a few things you should know before you give them any money – they will not accept any bookings during year end which is peak travel period, neither will they accept any flight bookings 30 days prior to date of travel, also, there is no clause that talks about membership cancellation
    – Their bookings team works on their owns whims and fancies – they shared wrong information with me on booking policies
    – Even if they do accept a booking and even if they share a booking confirmation with you, they do not guarantee accommodation – in my case twice they had cancelled the booking a day before my trip was scheduled
    – They offer step up policy meaning you can take friends and family with you but whenever you ask them for it, they share bad hotel options or simply deny the request
    – There is no refund on membership cancellation
    – They do not refund money for bookings that they cancelled – I’ve been chasing them for a booking refund cancelled by them since 28th September 2023
    – They do have a 5 year plan and they do not disclose it . You can ask for it
    – When you ask them for quotes for international trips, their quotation is as good as booking it through any 3rd party. For reference, I asked them a quote for Maldives for 2 nights, 3 days for 2 and their quotation was 1.5 lakh for stay alone
    – By the way, the properties that they put on website are never available when you try booking, they share cheap alternatives
