Text of Complaint by Raju Sharma:

Dear Sir,

I had taken a consumer durable loan from Bajajfin service . I bought a tv for 50,000 rs on 0% interest emi offer from Bajaj. I relayed 3 instalments (5000*3=15000) . as I was not able to repay I offered Bajaj agents to collet My TV and close the loan. they came to my home and took the Tv but they never informed Bajaj about the loan closure . after 4 years I received a mail from Bajaj that my semi for the loan taken is over due and they may file a legal action. when I called their agent ( I had his number saved fortunately) he picked phone after many tries. he said its long back issue what I can do and cut off the phone after that I could never reach him on phone. I replied all the matter to Bajaj but they are asking me the return slip. which I do not have . Bajaj agent is not helping and solving the issue. what should I do? why should I pay them emi for the item which their agents took away. there will be many people who got cheated by these kinds of frauds in Bajaj’s system. please help.

You have availed a loan from BFL vide Loan Account Number 4100CD14419418 and failed to honour the commitment as per the agreed terms and conditions. The total outstanding amount as on 15-06-2019 is Rs. 39,796. Please pay immediately on receipt of this notice.

We have not received any response to our previous tele calls/field visits regarding non-payment of outstanding towards the above said loan number. Note that non-payment of dues has also affected your CIBIL score.

Please be informed that in case we don’t receive the payment immediately, we shall be constrained to continue/initiate legal actions for recovery of the outstanding amount, at your cost. Also, there will be no further communication from our end before taking any of the legal steps stated above.

Dear Bajaj,

This item was taken back by your collection agents from my home . the name of the agent is Gautam and his no is 8981325008. when I called him 2 months back about the matter that why they did not close my account. He said its long back account. I said when you took my TV it was your responsibility to close the account as you had told me either you pr or wie will take our item back. the day you came to take my TV your assured the account is closed. after that no body came to my home for semi collections as they earlier use to come on every month. when after 2-3 years I saw my credit score I notices this loan is still open. I called to Bajaj to close it but they said I should talk to the agent or I should bring a return slip. I called agent who took my tv but he is not willing to close it he cut the phon and he does not pick the phone. now what I can do? Bajaj is not helping me agents are not helping me. why this account is open even after seizing my tv. whose fault is this . why should I pay for the item I do not have.
please call your agent and ask him why he did not give me any slip on the day he took my tv. I considered him your representative. and handed over my item as they were used to come to collect payment on behalf of Bajaj. if they did not close the account then why they never came for the payment collection afterwards. this is serious issue. if I am one of the victim of their ignorance there will be many customers who must be going through same problem.
please look it into internally take legal action against these agents and not against customers.
