Text of Complaint by Sayantan:

I ordered a HUL Pureit Advanced Plus 5 L RO + UV + Minerals Water Purifier with Minerals (Black), 422.6 mm*380 mm*165.6 mm*, (WCRU400) for Rs.1499 on 13th of July from Amazon, the seller was Deco Crafts. At the time of placing the order it was showing the product will be delivered at my PINCODE (700066) within an 1 hour. I waited for 1 hour and still there was no update in the order details. I called up Amazon Customer Service and addressed the issue he told me wait till 9:00pm the order will be delivered. I waited for the whole day and saw that there was an update in the order details page that the product has been dispatched with Delhivery and its delayed. While checking the tracking details in the Amazon App it was showing that the product was picked up by the carrier on 5th of April in the month of July. With the given Delhivery tracking id (3456789876543) when I tried to search from Delhivery website it was showing invalid tracking number. I called up Amazon Customer Service on 14th July and informed about the above scenario, they told me they are asking the seller Deco Crafts to update the information and asked me to wait for 3 business days. I waited for further updates but unfortunately there was no update. I called Amazon again on 17th July asking for update, and I was informed by the customer executive that the seller has not responded yet. He told me that the issue has been already escalated and it will be resolved by 18th July and the product will also be delivered. On18th July 2023, when I called Amazon again to know the update about the delivery, I was informed that due to some technical glitch the product price was incorrect and the product can’t be delivered. So what happened is Amazon ran a sale with certain discounted prices on certain products to get traffics on their website and when you booked the product with the discounted price they just don’t deliver it by providing lame excuses. And this is not just me, Amazon did the same with a lot of people. Here’s a case that one youtuber has covered “https://youtube.com/shorts/_-zBD8ottAQ?feature=share”. It is my right to get the product with the same price I placed. Amazon refused to deliver the product and refunded back after all these harassments. I’ve attached all the screenshots of the order details and the conversations between Amazon Social media team.
