Text of Complaint by SHIVE CHANDER TALWAR:

The internet connection at my home has been down since the morning of 29.03.20 and our complaint has already been registered with airtel (SR no. 116669306). Following the reporting of our complaint, I have been desperately trying to contact Airtel on your customer care number 033 44444121 as well as your nodal office number 033 40016725.

I have not been able to speak to any technician on your customer care number as the call is automatically dropped after a 5 minute hold time, and this has happened for each of the 13 times I have called. I was finally able to speak to a technician on your nodal office number who has informed me that my issue will not be resolved until 01.04.20!

My experience with Airtel’s broadband service over the last year and a half has been absolutely abysmal and airtel holds the records for all my reported complaints as well as my calls for “quality and training” purposes.

Every time our internet connection stops working, which is HIGHLY frequent and happens inevitably once a month, your technicians only note down the seriousness of the complaint, since it is part of their standard operating procedure, but they do nothing further to resolve the matter permanently since the connection is again gone one month later.

It is only unfortunate for me that this issue is now repeating itself during the lockdown period and Airtel readily has an excuse for not contacting me or resolving my broadband connection issues on priority which I will have to accept in this instance.

I request you to please send a technician to my location to resolve my internet connection as soon as possible during this time as I am supposed to be working from home which is not possible for me to do without an internet connection and this could cause a severe impact in my business dealings.
