I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the purchase of stainless steel roof hangers for my balcony from Chennai Roof hangers 8 months ago. The product, marketed as durable and of high quality, started showing signs of deterioration within just eight months of installation, and recently, it broke completely.
This defect poses a significant safety risk. If the hangers fall, they could cause serious injury to anyone standing below, which is deeply concerning for me and my family. Given the implied durability of stainless steel, the product has failed to meet reasonable quality standards, and I believe this to be a case of substandard manufacturing and misrepresentation of the product.
Here are my specific requests:
A full refund of the purchase price, or replacement with a safer and durable product.
Compensation for the inconvenience and potential risk posed by the faulty product.
Assurance that the seller will address this safety hazard and prevent future incidents with similar products.
