Sir, on 02.07.2023 I was on youtube which was advertising the booking of BOAT products on discounted rates through site 28db0f.myshopify.com
I have booked two orders amounting for Rs.857.64 which was to be received by 11.07.2023
I have paid the amount via online transaction No.17657550594 by SBI debit card through PAYU getaway. After payment I have received message from PAYU that through Transaction No.17657550594 for Rs.857.64 done for MANJIBHAI HARIJIBHAI SUTARIYA has succeeded.
However, till date I have not received the order and now I am not able to track the order as the site is not opening/shutdown.
Contacted the PAYU for the same vide ticket ID QG3325778369, they have given the reply that
PayU is a payment aggregator who helps merchants and customers to do online transactions. It is a merchant who delivers the services and gives refund/replacement as per their policy in case of any issues. Since the said transaction is successfully processed, hence any refund/resolution will be provided by the merchant.
Your transaction with the PayU, ID: 17657550594 has been successfully processed on 2023-07-02. We request to contact the merchant regarding order/services or refund details against the transaction. As per our records, the transaction ID: 36757464678685.
From the above said, it is clear that owner of the site 28db0f.myshopify.com were allowed to operate online to commit fraud against the general public which included me.
A strict action is needful to be taken against Youtube for advertising such fraudulent merchant without verification on its site and action be taken on merchant/owners of site 28db0f.myshopify.com for duping the people including me and also on PAYU for letting such fraudulent merchant to use their payment getway without verifying them and thereby becoming part the fraud been committed and amount paid by me be refunded.
