Text of Complaint by Sonal Gupta:

That I have done recharge through cent mobile app on number 7415574829 on 2nd October 2021 by transaction I’d 8054614726 for the amount 1199 for 1 year local calls and internet data.

That the amount 1199 for recharge was deducted but the number was not recharged as per the plan, later I get to know that there was no such recharge available.

That the amount was not refunded and I had words with the customer care 121 number on 5th October 2021 and the executive stated that she has initiated the amount and it will get refund to my account within 10 days and she informed that the said recharge is with respect to international calls which was clearly not my intention to do the recharge.

That the amount which was stated to be refunded is not been refunded till date and on 19th October 2021. I again had words with the executive of customer care number 121 through which mr. Raj Verma informed me that they cannot initiate any kind of refund as it was not as per their policy, which was clearly the company’s duty to inform me on time.

That the executive Mr. Raj Verma also stated that whether you use it or not it will get expire as per the time frame but they will not refund it, not matter what because I did the recharge from 3rd party not from the airtel application.

That the said conduct of your company is not as per the section 2(22), 2(23), 2(28)(iv), 2(34), 2(37)(ii)(b), 2(38), 2(42), 2(47)(f), 2(47B) of consumer protection act.

That the said act is not as per the norms of the consumer protection act. Consider this as legal notice and show the cause as to why I should not initiate any legal action against the company for the said act.
