Text of Complaint by Sanjay mallick:

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Kia Central Car Showroom in Bhubaneswar regarding the poor service and negligence I have experienced after purchasing my Kia Seltos .
My name is Sanjay Mallick, and I purchased my vehicle (Vehicle No. OD 02 BU 2470) from KIA Central, Pahala, Bhubaneswar on October 12, 2021 copy attached.

Recently, my car underwent its regular service at the Kia Central Service Centre, where the alignment of all four tyres was performed. To my utmost dismay, the two front tyres of my car have been badly damaged, with the protective tyre wires coming out. This is highly concerning as the car has only been driven for 21,225 kilometers since its purchase.

On 23rd June 2023, I brought my vehicle to your showroom and immediately reported the issue to the management regarding the extensive damage to my two front tyres. However, despite my repeated attempts to seek assistance, I have not received any response or appropriate resolution from your staff. This lack of concern and unresponsiveness displayed by the management is highly unprofessional and disappointing.
After several failed attempts, I visited the showroom once again on 7th July 2023 and had a meeting with Mr. Somlesh Bose, the Customer Care Manager. During our discussion, Mr. Bose informed me that the JK Tyres representatives examined my tyres and concluded that there were alignment issues (Copy Attached) “for your information alignment is done KIA CENTRAL SERVICE CENTRE” a month ago. He assured me that he would discuss this matter with the General Manager of Kia Central Consortium Motors, Pahala, Bhubaneswar, and he also mentioned that Kia Central would consider our case as a goodwill gesture. However, to my dismay, I received a call today, 8th July 2023, informing me to take back my vehicle from the showroom. I find this response to be utterly unjust, especially considering that my vehicle has been in your possession for the last 14 days.
Furthermore, I am perplexed by the fact that only the two front tyres have suffered extensive damage while the other two tyres remain in good condition. Considering that a tyre is expected to last approximately 20,000 kilometers, as has been the case with my vehicle, it raises questions about the quality of service provided and the potential mishandling of my vehicle during the alignment process.
Regrettably, my car has been held at the Kia Central Service Centre in Bhubaneswar for the past 14 days, and I have not received any satisfactory response or resolution to my concerns. This level of service is entirely unacceptable, and I demand proper justice and immediate action to rectify this situation.
I kindly request that you conduct a thorough investigation into this matter, carefully reviewing the records of the service performed on my vehicle. It is imperative that appropriate measures are taken to ensure that such negligence and lack of accountability are not repeated in the future. I also expect a prompt response from your end regarding the actions that will be taken to address my complaint and provide a satisfactory resolution.
To assist you in your investigation, I have attached copies of relevant documents, including photographs of the damaged tyres and J K Tyre report . I trust that these will be useful in understanding the seriousness of the issue and the impact it has had on my vehicle.
As a loyal customer of Kia Central Car Showroom, I have always had a positive opinion of your dealership and the reputation of the Kia brand. However, this experience has significantly tarnished my trust and confidence in your establishment. I sincerely hope that you will take the necessary steps to regain my trust and restore the reputation of your dealership.
I look forward to a swift and satisfactory resolution to this matter. Failure to do so may leave me with no choice but to escalate this complaint to the appropriate consumer protection authorities and seek legal action. I trust that it will not come to that, and we can resolve this matter amicably.
