Text of Complaint by Kumar:

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Zepto, a vendor of consumer products, regarding their failure to deliver quality service and their refusal to address my issue with the defective Protonics Key2Mouse Combo.

On 7th of July, I placed an order for the Protonics Key2Mouse Combo from Zepto’s online store. The primary reason for this purchase was that my office was going on, and I was facing issues with my current keyboard. I expected to receive a functional and high-quality product to aid me during my work from home period.

However, upon receiving the package, I was extremely disappointed to find that the keyboard was defective. The keys were unresponsive, and the mouse was not functioning correctly. This immediately hindered my ability to work efficiently during my office hours, and it caused undue stress and inconvenience.

When I contacted Zepto’s customer support to request a replacement or refund for the defective product, I was shocked to encounter uncooperative behavior from their end. They outrightly refused to replace the faulty item and redirected me to contact Protonics customer care instead.

As a customer, I believe that my responsibility is with Zepto, the vendor from whom I made the purchase, and not with the manufacturer, Protonics. Zepto’s lack of accountability and failure to stand by their product has caused unnecessary hassle during my work commitments.

Furthermore, Zepto’s claim of quick delivery was not fulfilled as the defective product was delivered, and the resolution process is causing undue delays, wasting my valuable time and affecting my work productivity.

I kindly request the Consumer Court to intervene and address this matter promptly. I am seeking the following resolutions:

An immediate replacement of the defective Protonics Key2Mouse Combo with a fully functional one.
A written apology from Zepto for their poor customer service and negligence.
Appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, time, and stress caused.
I have attached all relevant documents, including the order receipt and communication with Zepto’s customer support, for your reference.

I hope that the Consumer Court will look into this matter seriously and take necessary actions to ensure that customers like me are protected from such unfair practices. Your assistance in resolving this dispute is highly appreciated.
