Text of Complaint by Suman Das:

Dear Ombudsman of UC Company,
With much grief, I would like to state that on 9th May’ 2023, one of your company’s technician has installed my LG Dual Inverter AC at 3rd Floor. However, it was observed that after 2 days of the said installation, the AC machine did not cooling at all (the problem still continues), for which i had booked UC for revisit to resolve the issue but another technician just checked the junction of copper pipe at the outdoor and indoor unit of the AC and found that no leakage issue is there at the said two junction.
However, at the later stage, it is observed that there is a serious leakage issue in the copper pipe in a particular position (Other than the two junctions) which resulted in the leakage of R32 Gas despite the AC machine is fully charged with R32 Gas.
In view of the above, it appears that the Gas Leakage issue arises due to improper and careless installation of my AC.
Moreover, I would like to state that the Outdoor unit has been installed in such a position that if, any outdoor problem or Gas leakage issue arises in future, then it will be very difficult for any of the technician to check the issue standing on a very thin Sunshed Position.
Hence, it is requested to resolve the issue and arrange to pay the price of the Copper Pipe which has got damaged due to improper and careless installation of my AC at the earliest otherwise, i have no other option left than approach to the Consumer Forum Court for effective redressal.

With Regards,
SUMAN DAS
