Text of Complaint by Vedika Bhangde:

I have placed an order from corridor 7 amounting to Rs.385. (registered phone number: 9158491122) Order ID: 3864480476. The delivery guy came and said he don’t have change of 500. I suggested him to pay the remaining balance online, even then he said he don’t have balance nor online or in cash. He contacted me to the customer care of zomato, very rudely he (customer care executive) said you have placed an order and you don’t have change so we have to cancel it as it is your lookout and then he disconnected without even listening to me.
Zomato cancelled my order without even asking me. This kind of service from zomato is really pathetic. I want to raise a complaint against the zomato head who was on the call with me as the delivery guy was not at fault. Further I contacted the customer care and they were hopeless too. There was absolutely no solution provided by them. Irrespective of what, the customer care head who cancelled my order should have asked me before cancelling it. The remarks of cancelled order says: Your order has been cancelled as requested. This is false. I did not ask to cancel the order. I want compensation for the same.
