Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Ola Electric concerning the undue delay in the delivery of my Ola S1 Pro Plus 3rd Generation electric scooter. I am deeply concerned and disappointed by the company’s failure to honor the committed delivery schedule, which has caused considerable inconvenience and distress.
I placed my order on February 13, 2025, with an expected delivery date of March 3, 2025, as stated on Ola Electric’s official website and in the order confirmation email. As a central government employee, I am eligible for “BH” registration, for which I obtained the necessary permission and service letter from my organization, as requested by an Ola representative.
I was informed that by Ola Electric Store, Indiranagar, Bengaluru, that the “BH” registration process would require at least a month, or alternatively, I could opt for “KA” (Karnataka) registration. I chose to wait for the “BH” registration to avoid complications related to vehicle ownership and resale that would arise from changing the registration state.
Despite the lapse of several weeks (months) beyond the promised timeline, I have yet to receive my vehicle. This delay has disrupted my plans and caused significant inconvenience. Furthermore, repeated attempts to obtain a clear update from Ola Electric’s customer support have been met with unsatisfactory, vague responses and a lack of transparency. Representatives at the Ola Electric Store, Indiranagar, Bengaluru have only stated that delivery is “in process” without providing any specific timelines.
Such lack of effective communication and failure to meet commitments is not only disheartening but undermines consumer trust. As a customer, I am entitled to receive my vehicle within the agreed timeframe or to be compensated fairly for any delays experienced.
Therefore, I respectfully seek the intervention of the Consumer Court to:
1)Ensure the immediate delivery of the Ola S1 Pro Plus 3rd Generation within a reasonable timeframe.
2)Provide adequate compensation for the inconvenience and any additional costs incurred due to the delay.
3)Obtain a transparent explanation for the delay and assurances that similar issues will be prevented in the future.
I have enclosed all relevant documents, including my order confirmation and correspondence with Ola Electric’s customer service, to support my complaint. I am available to provide any further information necessary to facilitate a fair and timely resolution.
I trust the Consumer Court will take due cognizance of this matter and assist in securing a just outcome.
