Text of Complaint by Manish Sharma:

This is about the purchase I made with Spicejet for my domestic flight scheduled on Nov 11, 2023, which they canceled notifying me on Oct 2, 2023.
I raised a refund with SpiceJet for this between Oct 02 to Oct 10 but I did not get the refund even after more than one month.

Hence on Nov 19, 2023 I got in touch with Spcejet once again over the phone and they assured me that they would refund the amount within two weeks. On Nov 30, I wrote them an email following up on the refund status. Since then they never gave me a definitive answer to my simple questions – “what is the reason for delay” and “What is the time estimate to refund”.

Now after more than a month passed, and after a lot of false promises and non-transparency by Spicejet on the “reason for delay” and “estimated time to refund”, I have lost hope with them and now I am filing this complaint.

As a proof, I have a complete email chain comprising all the communications with SpiceJet right from the intimation of cancellation, my refund requests, and their non-transparent replies till today.
