Text of Complaint by VIVEK:

Dear Hon’ble Consumer Complaint Court,

I am writing to bring to your attention the unethical practices of MPocket online loan app, specifically in regards to their treatment of customers who are facing financial difficulties.

I first came to know about MPocket when I was in college, as they provide small amounts of loans for students. I had used their services in the past, always repaying the borrowed amount on time. However, in one instance when I encountered financial difficulties and was unable to repay the loan, I was subjected to harsh treatment by MPocket.

After missing a payment, the interest on my loan skyrocketed and I was mentally threatened by the app’s representatives. They repeatedly called me, making threats to file a case against me and harassing me with constant calls and messages. Their behavior was extremely aggressive and intimidating.

Despite my efforts to negotiate a settlement with them, they were unwilling to cooperate and insisted that I pay an exorbitant amount. As a result of their actions, my cibil score has been negatively impacted.

I urge the Hon’ble Consumer Complaint Court to investigate the practices of MPocket and take necessary steps to put an end to their unethical behavior. Customers should not be subjected to such mistreatment and harassment, especially when facing financial difficulties.
