I Ankit Khanna, wish to file a formal complaint against FundoBaba and its recovery representative for harassment, abusive conduct, and unethical recovery practices.
I have been facing financial hardship and had already informed the lender about my condition while remaining in communication regarding repayment and settlement options. Despite this, the recovery agent engaged in highly unprofessional and humiliating conduct.
The recovery representative contacted my father and used insulting and abusive language toward him, including referring to him as “abbe oo takle.” My father has no involvement in the loan obligation, yet he was subjected to disrespect, humiliation, and mental harassment.
The actions of the recovery agent have caused severe emotional distress to me and my family. Such behavior is unethical and appears to violate RBI guidelines regarding recovery agent conduct, borrower dignity, and privacy.
My concerns are as follows:
Use of abusive and insulting language toward my father.
Mental harassment and intimidation of family members.
Unprofessional recovery conduct despite my active communication with the lender.
Violation of borrower dignity and privacy.
Continuous pressure and emotional distress caused to my family.
I request the concerned authorities to:
Investigate the conduct of the recovery agent and the lender.
Direct the company to stop contacting and harassing my family members.
Ensure that all future communication remains lawful and professional.
Take appropriate action for the abusive behavior and unethical recovery practices.
Direct the company to issue a formal written apology to my father for the insulting language used against him.
I am willing to cooperate regarding repayment matters, but harassment, intimidation, and verbal abuse toward family members should not be tolerated.
Regards,
Ankit Khanna
