Text of Complaint by Atchaya Devi:

I am filing this complaint against Flipkart Internet Pvt. Ltd. for not crediting my Air India Express refund amount despite confirmation from the airline that it has been processed to Flipkart.

I had booked an Air India Express international flight from Trichy to Singapore through Flipkart Travel (Booking ID: [250919553340], PNR: [P436SC]). I missed the flight, and as per airline policy, I was eligible for a partial refund (airport taxes).

Air India Express has confirmed that the refund has been processed to Flipkart, but when I contacted Flipkart support, they informed me that the refund amount is ₹0 after penalty, which contradicts the airline’s confirmation. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received my eligible refund.

This constitutes a deficiency in service and unfair handling of consumer funds under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

I therefore request the Hon’ble Consumer Authority to kindly:

1. Direct Flipkart to credit the refund amount already received from Air India Express to my original payment method.

2. Compensate me for the delay and inconvenience caused.

3. Take necessary action to prevent such refund mismanagement in the future.
