Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Excitel Broadband for their repeated failure to provide the internet services I have paid for and for engaging in fraudulent practices. I am a subscriber of Excitel Broadband under the customer ID 1240074762, and my registered address is House No 5, Vimal Enclave, Maruti Kunj, Gurgaon, Haryana, 122102.
I have been facing severe issues with the services provided by Excitel Broadband. My internet connection has been disrupted for the past several days, and despite numerous complaints and follow-ups with their customer service department, no resolution has been provided. The details of my complaints are as follows:
1. **Service Disruption:** My internet connection has been down since 30.June2024. there has been no effective response or resolution from Excitel Broadband.
2. **Lack of Customer Support:** The customer service representatives have been unresponsive and unhelpful. Each time I contact them, I receive generic responses with false assurances that the issue will be resolved within 24 hours, which never happens.
3. **Misleading Information:** The company promised uninterrupted high-speed internet, but I have faced frequent disconnections and slow speeds even before this complete outage. This constitutes false advertising and misrepresentation of their services.
4. **Financial Loss:** Due to the non-availability of internet service, I have faced significant inconvenience and financial losses as I rely on a stable internet connection for my work-from-home job.
I request the Consumer Court to take strict action against Excitel Broadband for their failure to provide the promised service and for their fraudulent practices. I seek the following remedies:
1. An immediate resolution of my internet connectivity issue.
2. Compensation for the days without service and the inconvenience caused.
3. A thorough investigation into the company’s practices to prevent such issues for other consumers in the future.
4. A refund of the subscription fee paid for the period during which the service was not provided.
I am attaching copies of my subscription receipt, complaint reference numbers, and any correspondence I have had with Excitel Broadband regarding this issue.
