Text of Complaint by Qumar Alam:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my deep concern over the harassment and mental distress I have been experiencing at the hands of Excitel Broadband.

I am a single mother of two young children, and I work full-time from home. I rely on the internet for my work and for my children’s education.

On May 27, 2023, I disconnected my Excitel Broadband connection. I immediately requested that the local executive collect the router from my premises. However, despite numerous attempts and reminders, the executive has failed to do so. This has left me without internet access for over 30 days.

In addition to the failure to collect the router, I have been subjected to a relentless barrage of phone calls from Excitel Broadband sales representatives. They are calling me up to 40-45 times a day, with calls coming in every other minute. This constant harassment has severely impacted my ability to work and to care for my children.

I have made numerous attempts to address this issue with Excitel Broadband directly. I have spoken to customer service representatives, I have sent emails, and I have even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. However, my concerns have been ignored.

I believe that the behavior exhibited by Excitel Broadband is unacceptable and constitutes harassment. It goes against all basic principles of professional conduct and customer service. I am a loyal customer who has been with Excitel Broadband for over 5 years. I have never had any problems with the service until now.

I am requesting your urgent intervention in this matter. I urge you to initiate an investigation into the actions of Excitel Broadband. I believe that their continuous harassment and refusal to collect the router constitute a violation of my rights as a consumer and may even be in violation of applicable laws and regulations.

I have enclosed copies of relevant communication records, including call logs and any written correspondence, as evidence of the harassment I have been subjected to. I trust that this documentation will assist you in conducting a thorough investigation.

I respectfully request that appropriate action be taken against Excitel Broadband to put an end to this harassment and ensure that no other individuals face similar ordeals in the future. Additionally, I request your guidance on the necessary steps to protect my rights and seek redressal in this matter.
