I, Divya P B, a resident of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, would like to bring to your attention a grievance I have faced with an online shopping platform hosted on Instagram, namely Everything_Under_1k.
On the 8th of June, 2024, I placed an order for a dress from the Instagram page Everything_Under_1k, amounting to ₹1087. The seller confirmed that the item was dispatched shortly after the order was placed. However, despite the passage of more than two months, I have not received the product.
I have repeatedly tried to contact the seller through phone calls and messages to inquire about the status of my order. Unfortunately, my efforts have been in vain, as the seller has not responded to any of my attempts to communicate.
This lack of response and non-delivery of the product amounts to a clear case of deficiency in service and a violation of consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act. I believe that I have been wronged by this seller and seek redress for the same.
I request the Consumer Court to take appropriate action against Everything_Under_1k and ensure that I am either provided with the product I ordered or refunded the full amount of ₹1087 at the earliest. I also urge the Court to impose any necessary penalties on the seller to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.
I am attaching the relevant proof of payment and order confirmation for your reference.
