Text of Complaint by FEDELLIA NONGRUM:

Sir/Madam,
I would like to report a complaint against the delivery executive who delivered the Flipkart Order No. Order ID – OD328900894817006100 which was an open box delivery for a TV, today the 18th August 2023 at 8.14 pm. The delivery executive was quite rude to say the least!

When I was checking the product for damages, he insisted I hurry up numerous times and rushed me saying he was running late. I told him to hold on because I needed to check the product thoroughly as per the checklist. I went on to say that if he had too many deliveries today, he should not have set the delivery date for my order the same day. I informed him that I stayed home all day and waited for him to deliver my order. He had the audacity to say that, ” It’s not my problem that you stayed home or took leave from work. It is your duty to be home to take delivery since you ordered the product.” That was totally unacceptable! Yet I kept quiet and continued checking. When I was done I gave him the OTP and I requested him to help me put the TV back in the box since I can’t do it aLoan. He retorted back, ” It’s not my duty! That’s your duty. I did what I had to do!” He left the TV on the floor (picture attached)!!!! Such insolence cannot be tolerated. I’m appalled that such people are representing Ekart logistics. I told the delivery executive I will give feedback on his bad attitude, and he retorted back yet again that, “I don’t care if you give bad feedback, I have delivered the product!”. I was infuriated and told him to leave immediately.

I’m quite disappointed by this incident. It may be noted that I contacted the delivery executive twice in the morning to confirm the time of delivery but his phone was either busy or unreachable. I contacted Flipkart customer care to enquire and they assured me that the delivery will take place today by 7pm. It is not my fault that he delivered my product so late. The delay was from his end or the company’s delivery plan, yet he had no qualms about disrespecting a customer. Doesn’t the company have some code of conduct when it comes to customer service? The delivery executive doesn’t lack “Audacity” but the indifference towards me as a customer goes against your core values of “Customer First” as he refused to help and lacked respect. I will make sure that this matter is escalated in all necessary forums because as a Professional from the Service Industry, I cannot accept such behavior.
