I am a very old customer of airtel . I have used the airtel for many years and pay the bill timely. This number is working in my mother Late Smt. Veena Rani w/o Krishan Gopal. She was expired on dated 08/12/2012. In 14th Sep 2020 at 5:00 PM my airtel no is not working. I called customer care 121 for this issue and the customer executive said to visit the airtel store because your sim is damaged. At 15th Sep 2020 I visited the airtel store at Dharampura Bazar Patiala Punjab to meet a turban boy. I said my sim is not working so issue the duplicate sim. He says that the owner shall come then issue the duplicate sim. I said my mother was expired. He says submit the documents to change the name of the airtel connection. I said tell me the documents which required changing the name. Turban boy said madam is not available so visit the store tomorrow and said today the server is not working and without informing me he done KYC to my another Vodafone number and charged Rs. 50/-.
On the 16th Sep 2020 I visited the airtel store at Dharmapura Bazar Patiala Punjab. I met the madam regarding a duplicate sim issue. But she said the change of name process is very lengthy and I don’t know which documents are required and our manager is on holiday, he will come on Friday. She said you have visited the other airtel store which is located at Leela Bhawan Patiala and the manager is available. I visited the Leela Bhawan store, and the manager told me the documents needed (affidavit notary tested, identity proof of mother Late Smt.Veena Rani and proof of my Arun Sharma).
18th Sep 2020 I made an affidavit and I gave an affidavit to my friend to check the manager. Manager said the affidavit is ok and gave a form to my friend and said fill the last 5 calls details. In 18th Sep 2020 at 7:00 PM I visited the store with all the documents . I meet an executive wearing a black T-shirt and says that I don’t know about this case. He says your request is done by another boy and not available at this time so you are visiting the store in the morning.
Sir, I requested you to issue the duplicate sim and change the name of Late Smt. Veena Rani w/o Sh. Krishan Gopal to my name Arun Sharma S/o Sh. Krishan Gopal. Please solve my issue as soon as possible.
