Text of Complaint by Surendra Sharma:

Please find the booking confirmation of my room here below.

It was made before 5 working days as a corporate booking and confirmed by your booking desk.

It was to my surprise that at the time of check-in, no room was available at the hotel, you allotted all the rooms to your other guests just to make money.

On my repeated request, you have given me room no. 3023 a non-ac and twin bedroom.

Immediately I object it and the staff at the reception ask me to wait as they will check and revert.

After 15 minutes, I called the help desk again, and another person asked me to wait until they find out and revert.

Again after 15 minutes, I called the help desk again for the third time, one more new person attended my call and ask me to wait.

Thereafter, they informed my that there is a technical problem in AC of the entire hotel and all the rooms and they are trying to fix it but it cannot be done before 10 pm.

I have checked with my neighbour’s rooms and found that ac is working perfectly alright.

Just I have been cheated and it’s intentional.

Later on, I spoke to the GM of the hotel and he offered me a discount of Rs.500/- and also a cooler.

I request to arrange a room at GRT-Zibe just opposite to the road and he is ready to do so. But once again I was disappointed as he never responded back.

Later on, a cooler was arranged but its gave everything like bad noise, water shower and bad smell except cooling.

I have shown my picture of the room inside sweating in front of the cooler to your man at reception. I can share it once again if you wish to see it.

Finally 10 pm at night, I have been allotted a room.

FYK, I am attacked by a heat wave during the time spent in your room throughout the afternoon 14 pm to 18 pm and got sick now.

Got a high fever and am now under the doctor’s observation.

The story is not over yet – at the time of checkout, I requested a discount of Rs.500/- as GM promised. But it was refused to say my booking was made for a non-ac room.

To keep the story short, I just paid the money whatever asked for and leave the hotel.

My question is –

1. when you have booked a room with prior confirmation then what holds you back to keep a room reserved for the guest?
2. Do you have any doubt that guests will not come so let’s allot the room to others.
3. Do you find anywhere that a room booked for a VIP (as in the remarks below) could be a non-ac room?
4. Just check in your database about Surendra Sharma and JUMAC Manufacturing that I am your regular guest.
