Did you see any airlines charging money for seat during checkin for a confirmed ticket? I faced a bad experience from Air India Express and AirAsia India from Calicut Airport for the first time in ten years journey. ( The staff explained the reason for payment is, I had tried online checkin, but I didn’t confirm as there is payment) They compelled me to do the payment or else I wouldn’t be able to travel. They informed that I can request for refund. When I request for refund, they informed they will not refund my money.
