Text of Complaint by Rohan Khanna:

I used Travolook to book flight tickets because of their low rates + promises of further discounts using preferred payment gateways. To be honest, I was fooled by them and their business seems borderline scam.

I booked a ticket which was then cancelled by them within 30 minutes. I was told I will get a refund in 5-7 working days, but it has been 3 weeks and I am still waiting. They keep making fake excuses and keep asking for more time. At one point, they told me that their payment gateway(Freecharge) has rejected the payment refund. So, to call their bluff I raised a formal complaint with the Grievance Officer of Freecharge. It was clear they were lying so I got another email stating they will reinitiate the payment and I will receive it within 5-7 working days. Now a week later, I get an email asking for another 5-7 working days.

This seems like a trend with this company. Please don’t go on their positive reviews, they have been posed by the employees, contractors, agents, etc. of the company themselves to fool the people. So many people have complained about this issue. Not sure of their exact processes and intentions, but I will not be surprised if I get to know that they would pocket the refunds of people who don’t follow-up with them or use the collective funds for short-term investments or they refund money in their own wallet to ensure you use their services again.
