I have purchased a Treadmill (Model: Sketra Splash Run) from Quantico Global India Pvt Ltd vide Order No:38990 (Bill/Invoice Enclosed) on 9th March 2024 which cost an amounting of Rs.39999/- (Rupee Thirty Nine Thousand Ninety Nine only). I have purchased the product on the basis of specification of the above mentioned Treadmill on their Website where it is clearly mention that this Treadmill is equipped with BLDC Motor (Brush Less Direct Current) and therefore it can be operated continuously for four Hours. I have purchased the Treadmill after long discussion with their Sales Executive Mr.Raman, who assured me that the Treadmill is equipped with BLDC Motor, so that I can walk in this Treadmill for up to 4 hours. I have made two split payment of each of Rs.20000/- from my two Credit Cards. The split payment option also arranged by Mr. Raman
But when I have started walking on this treadmill I have found that after 35-40 minutes of walking the Treadmill become overheated, running pad starts stopping etc., where it is clearly mentioned in the specification of the treadmill that it can run continuously 4 hours as because it has 2 CHP BLDC Motor. Various issues happened when its running time goes over 35-40 minutes like tremendous heats generated, burn smell coming out from treadmill, treadmill running pad got stuck etc. On complaining about the issue they have arranged a technician, who had visited my place and after checking the issue he told me that Treadmill Motor gone bad which has to be replaced by the company. Accordingly company send me a motor for replacement, when the motor arrived at my place through courier then I have noticed that the motor is normal 1 Horse Power DC motor instead of BLDC motor (Specification can be found in above mentioned given link and also I have enclosed a document) which is completely cheating by Quantico Global India Pvt Ltd company because in their specification it is clearly mentioned that Sketra Splash Run Treadmill is equipped with BLDC Motor. Only BLDC based Treadmill can run up to 2 hours to 4 hours depending on the horse power of BLDC motor.
On complaining the issue on service centre of Quantico Global India Pvt Ltd through email they are not replying in spite of repeated reminders. On telephonic discussion they are just assured me that they will deliver motor again but not mentioning anything about specification of the Motor. By providing wrong information they have not cheated me only, they have cheated with all the customers who have purchased their product with a belief that they have purchased a treadmill which is equipped with BLDC motor. I need justice. Please help me.
Since from the date of receiving this Treadmill, I have issue with this Treadmill. The company send me a non-functional product and after couple of telephonic conversation they have arranged technician to fix it. After fixing the product which was non-functional at the time of delivery, they are asking extra charge for the technician next visit within one year warranty period. The company claim that they provide only one free technician visit through out the year which they have already spend on fixing the Treadmill which was non-functional at the time of delivery. This is how they treat the Customers once they sold the product. Now also regarding motor issue they are refusing to send any BLDC Motor.
I am requesting you kindly to look in to the matter so that as a Consumer I can have justice for cheating that Quantico Global India Pvt Ltd has made with me.
