I am one of your long term customers, and writing this email with a heavy heart.
I know It may be a bit harsh, but I would like to express my experience about world class customer care support provided by PAYTM.
I have raised the concern that though I have applied a promo code “FESTIVE9” while placing my laptop order, it hasn’t been added in the final invoice, Hence I have ended up with a loss of rs.3800.
As a customer, we must have to raise an issue with the respective customer care support, then the customer care support does the background check of the issue in their system. Meanwhile the customer care support keeps on providing updates to customer thru call / sms / email.
I know you guys know very well that this is the standard definition of the customer care support.
Due to some security reason that the customers haven’t been allowed to take screenshots of the payment page. But you should not take it as an advantage of giving false information to the customer.
I have clearly informed you that I had decided to purchase the laptop in PAYTM due to cashback offers provided in your site. then why should I place the order without the promo code. It’s highly impossible to share the evidence as you have blocked us from taking screenshots. Please DON’T fool customers by providing FANCY PROMO OFFER if you are not able to provide.
Another surprise is that I haven’t received any call for my query / return request. You guys are simply making the customer run behind you till the prescribed return policy date, after that the return date is over and no further question.
I am taking this matter to your nodal and grievance officers since I am not satisfied with the solution provided here.
Once again, either it’s a system issue or you guys are providing false information to attract the customer. DON’T FOOL US!
