I purchased a Samsung microwave from Sargam Electronics, Lajpat Nagar in 2018. Purchased this specific model because I was told it has 10 years of warranty on inner body which is ceramic. In case of any damage and cavity I can get it fixed or get a new one.

I spent ₹22k and bought this most expensive microwave from your store only because it was backed up with warrenty which gives additional confidence and peace of mind.

Recently I noticed that my microwave was sparking when in use, filed a complaint to arrange a engineer visit and discovered that it has rust all over the body and thats the reason for Sparks. Since it was covered with 10 years of warrenty my expectation was to get it fixed or get a new one if this cant be fixed.

Samsung engineer informed me that this cant be fixed and they can refund my money after deducting 22.5% from the value for every year. Which makes total of 67.5% from the cost plus ₹900 as file charge.

Now the point is that why did i even purchase such an expensive microwave in first place, there were other models available for ₹12-13k ignoring which i picked up the best one and this is what i am facing. Visited Sargam store and they informed me that they cant do anything about it. It’s Samsung who will take a call.

This is a clear case of cheating and false commitment. You are giving limited information to customers and at the time of after sales you simply say speak to Samsung we cannot no anything about it.

How can customer even trust such big electronic stores.
