1. I wished to transport my Swift Dzire car from Delhi to Jamshedpur. Therefore, on 11th November 2023, I submitted a request for the transportation of my car from Jamshedpur to Delhi on https://www.movemycar.in/. Thereafter, I received a call from someone who identified herself as Ms. Minakshi Sharma from Hanuman Car Transport.
2. Ms. Minakshi Sharma from the said service provider provided a quotation from Whatsapp no. (+91 9034464379) vide Quotation No. Hanuman100785 dated 12th November 2023, quoting a total amount of INR 10,000, which was inclusive of transportation services, transit insurance, container usage, and all required paperwork (details and proof enclosed).
3. I fell into the trap of the accused service provider and decided to get my car delivered through them. Thereafter, on 22nd November 2023, I made an advance payment of INR 2000 as a booking amount to the UPI linked to the accused service provider’s bank account (receipt enclosed.) I handed over my car to the driver assigned by them namely Naimuddin Shaikh
4. On 25th November 2023, I received a car loading picture and was informed that the car would be delivered to Jamshedpur by 27th November 2023. However, as on dated 27.11.2023, I received a FasTAG notification for my car. This made me suspicious about the accused service provider as my car wasn’t at the destination even by 27.11.2023 and I therefore raised the said concern with them. However, in response to my concern raised I was informed that the FasTAG reporting might have gotten delayed and would have delivered to me late. They further assured me that my car was already in Jamshedpur and will be delivered as promised. Eventually, I went to Jamshedpur to collect my car. I was informed by the said service provider that the car was at Transport Nagar, Jamshedpur, and I could collect it on 28th November 2023, after I make the balance payment of Rs. 21,360/- which was more than the double of the initial quotation.
5. After continued follow-ups, I was further assured my car’s delivery on 30.11.2023. however, I declined to pay the remaining amount till the delivery of my car. Despite several promises, the car was not delivered, and FasTAG messages continued to indicate my car’s movement to different locations (details of Fastag messages and money deduction from my account enclosed.)
6. I was in an extremely vulnerable situation, so on 03.12.2023, I agreed to make the enhanced balance payment, for a promised handover of my car (details of final payment enclosed.)
7. Despite of promising to deliver the car in next 2-3 days’, unfortunately, I did not receive my car and I could further see its movement through Fastag messages. I further started contacting them but they stopped answering my calls.
8. Thereafter, I reached out to NHAI for further help for tracing my car. I was provided with several pictures which showed my car crossing toll plaza and shockingly it wasn’t in a transportation container and someone was driving it. It can clearly be seen that my car, instead of being transported is being misappropriately used and has been going from one place to another. Despite of getting multiple assurances that my car is already in Jamshedpur, till date, there is no trace of my car and I am put in a desperate and a vulnerable position.
I filed a police complaint and with their intervention, finally, I received my car with damages, some of the parts replaced and I have put it in service station to figure out what more damage or part replaced in my car.
I received further many calls from other who got duped and their cars are not delivered and we must take up matter legally and with police to get such criminal behind bar for their rampant frauds and forgery.
I was similarly duped by them. I needed to transfer my XL6 (PUV) from Bangalore to Darbhanga (1800+kms). Their first quotation came of 16000 INR. I paid 2000 INR in advance for booking the order confirmed on WhatsApp chat that 14000 INR is remaining. Once the car was handed over with a promise of 5 days delivery, I received a revised quotation of 37000 INR. 16000 INR of Transit Risk Insurance was added, and additional 5000 for Docking, Loading and GST added. GST was understandable, but others weren’t there in the first quotation. After I said that you will get the payment in cash, but first deliver the car – they denied. Also, they started forcing for immediate payment of remaining 35000 INR for delivery after 3 hours of payment, else the car will be sent to Delhi which will result in additional payment for transportation. Finally I had to fold-in to their demand and pay 35000 INR instead of 14000 INR, as it was my car which was on collateral. Car was delivered 2 days afterwards. I asked for the proof of transit insurance, which they said that they will deliver with the car. For photo snap, they said that 2000 INR extra will be charged. But with the car, there wasn’t any transit insurance details/proof. So additional 16000 for insurance was all faux! Also why wasn’t other hidden charges (docking, loading, unloading etc.) were not mentioned in the first quotation?
Beware of this transporter called Hanuman Car Transport (https://hanumancartransport.com/). They will lure you with low quotation and once your things/car/goods are in their possession, they will blackmail you for additional money as hidden charges on the pretext of insurance, packing etc. (without any proof of insurance). Also there will be n-follows from your side to track through the entire process, with no response most of the time and vague responses rest of the times. Complete waste of time and money.
