I Had filled in an online form to get a new Airtel fibernet connection on 10th Sept, 2020. I received phone calls from multiple agents the next morning.
I spoke to one of the agents named Bhargav and he mentioned there is connectivity in my area and a new connection can be installed the next day. I was asked to share the address proof, which i did on 13 Sept, 2020. Following this, i made a payment of 3536 (999/month plan). I was promised the installation will be done next day.
Today, 14 Sept, 2020, after repeated follow ups with the same agent, who was completely unresponsive to my calls 90% of the time, I received phone number of the installation guy from Bhargav.
On speaking to the installation guy, he mentioned there is no connectivity in my area and the airtel fiber cant be installed.
After this, Bhargav does not seem to respond after I called him back and mentioned this. There is no way for me to talk to a customer care executive over 121, tried it multiple times.
Please take proper action as i have heard my colleagues going through the same scenario. The name of the agent is Bhargav and his numbers are +917349176894, +91 97430 34586.
Forget the money, I had to go through so much headache to even understand that i was being cheated.
Immediately agreeing to the activation fee and making the payment is not my foolishness, it was just my trust on the company Airtel.
Please help.
