Dear Sir/Madam
My name is Pravin Devkisan Tali and I am a resident of Buldhana Maharashtra. My Order ID – OD125755755265456000. I from Flipkart
Aquaultra C20 14 L RO + UF + UV + UV_LED + TDS Control Water purifier for Rs.4299 was ordered on 17/08/2022. I had delivered his money in cash to Flipkart on 17/08/2022. After completion of the process, the said item was to be delivered to me on 23/08/2022. The item was delivered to me on time as promised. But when I opened the said item, it was not as I ordered but of a different brand and size and some items were missing. The RO that I ordered was Aquaultra C20 14 L RO + UF + UV + UV_LED + TDS Control Water purifier of this brand and model number. But I received the RO that was not of this number. Also the RO that I ordered is of 14 liter capacity and I received The resulting RO was obtained with a capacity of 10 liters only. Also the RO I ordered has a UV lamp, but the RO I received was missing the UV lamp. So I called customer care on 23/08/22 and informed about receiving the wrong RO. Then I was told that your product is not updated on our site and you have to wait for 48 hours. After that we will accept your replacement request, till then we can’t help you. So I called the customer care center back on 25/08/2022 and told my problem, the customer care registered my request. Then on 27/08/2022 the seller accepted my request. Accordingly I was supposed to receive the new item on 03/09/2022. Since the period of 10 days from 25/08/2022 to 03/09/2022 was very long, and I and my family did not have access to clean drinking water, myself and all my family members fell ill. So I called the customer care for my family’s health and requested them to allow me to use the wrong RO till I get the new RO as we have 10 days to get the new product and because of the impure drinking water in our area. On this I was threatened by customer care executive, that if you use RO we will not take it back. That will cause loss to the seller. I realized at that time that Flipkart gives more importance to maintaining the relationship of the sellers than the interests of the customers. It’s fine if the customer gets inconvenienced but the seller shouldn’t be inconvenienced. So I was denied permission. According to the Consumer Protection Act 2019, after purchasing an item, one can file a complaint for replacement or refund within two years after purchase. Even after supplying the item, I was suffering for no reason, even though there was no fault on my part. But since my money was stuck with flipkart and I needed a new RO, and I had already wasted 10 days by ordering on flipkart for the RO, I needed another 08 days. Waiting in vain was orderly, so in vain I waited for RO till 02/09/2022. On 02/09/2022 I got new RO. At the same time old RO was withdrawn. When I opened the new RO I got Shocked and very angry. Because Flipkart sent back the same wrong RO as it was sent. 10 liter capacity, no brand and model number, and missing UV lamp. So when I called customer care, they replied as usual that your product is not updated. ,call after 48 hours.When I called customer care on 03/09/2022, customer care apologized for the inconvenience and advised me to request to return the item.It means I should request a return so the seller will refund my money. Or will send me back a new RO. And in all this process I will waste another 15 days. But after wasting 17 days why should I get my money back from the seller? And why wait another 15 days for a new item?.When asked, customer care told me that I can’t help any more than that.I
