Text of Complaint by Abhishek Pandit:

this is the email I wrote to IDEA company. Please consider as a complaint against them.

Regarding your warning mail to me of the payment of Rs.4366/-. I would like to clarify some specific problems with you that I faced. As I am a student  I don’t want to waste my precious time in traveling from one city to other to attend conciliation camp. I would like to list down all the problems faced by me which are :-

  1. In the month of February / March 2019, I wanted to shift my postpaid number to prepaid as my purpose of having postpaid was satisfied I did all the formalities which were required in the procedure. But from your side no efforts were taken to do so. As I was not in that need of prepaid number at that time I let it go.
  2. In the month of August/September 2019, I applied for the same as jotted in point 1. Again I followed the same procedure but you guys were of no use.  No action was taken to my regular requests.
  3. After suffering from your pathetic service I opted to port the number in another network. Again I paid my bills and requests to port, I applied to UPC code and went to nearest IDEA service center. The staff over there on day 1 did all the formalities and told me to leave as he had submitted the request. As you are an advocate that too working with a cellular network company you might be knowing that to port a sim it hardly takes 15 days. But my sim was not ported even after a month. I went again to the customer service center and enquirer about the same, the numb staff over there, first of all was not in time I had to wait an hour at office just to ask about my query, secondly he told me that “YOUR REQUEST HAS BEEN CANCELLED”. I obviously asked him the reason about the same and he replied that there was something error at technical end which I think I am not supposed to solve. In this I wasted my month. Then again I submitted the request and waited for the sim to get port.
  4. As at that time I was in Jammu and Kashmir, so there was no internet so that I can track my request. So I called customer care and asked her about my inquiry. She directly told me that “THERE IS NO SUCH REQUEST OF PORT BY YOU OVER HERE” . Again I went to customer service center next morning and asked him about this, despite of solving my query he started to blaming customer care that they don’t know how to deal this and I have submitted your request kindly wait for the verification call (over my alternate number). But there was not even a single call from your side regarding this. I again called customer care and asked him about the same and again the reply was “THERE IS NO SUCH REQUEST OVER HERE“. and coincidentally in the same month my bill was hiked  in 100’s. I again went to customer care service center this time I asked him first about my reason of  bill hike in reply to it he told me that “THERE IS SOMETIME OVERLAPPING OF NETWORK SO IT IS ANOTHER NETWORK CHARGES”. But luckily I am a graduate and I have a sound knowledge about networking sector and his answer was blunder to science. After this I called to customer care for the confirmation The person over there told me that THESE ARE THE TARIFF CHARGES (which I made unintentionally by calling customer care to solve my problem ).  I told the numb staff  that the reason given by you are wrong and in counter to it he started misbehaving in front of other people. So by this I don’t think your staff has etiquette to deal with the customer.
  5. Despite of getting frustrated by your service I keep calling to customer care and plea him to solve my problem and in response I always got a same response “VISIT OUR NEAREST SERVICE CENTER”.  As I did that many times and ended up with facing such a disgusting and illiterate response  by your staff I was fed up with him. So, always there was a repetition of the answer as your customer care was so dull to solve it.
  6. One random evening some messages in JAPANESE were being delivered by my cellular network to some unknown numbers. For your kind information I never learnt Japanese in my life till know and there is no relation between any Japanese and I. I was frightened and next morning I went to POLICE STATION to lodge FIR but they told me that it is a cellular network issue. So I called customer care and asked him about this despite of solving my query she started blaming me that I did it intentionally. I was feeling so guilty that why I chose this network because the staff over here which are supposed to solve the query of a customer are so pathetic and uneducated that they are giving wrong information to us. The bill you mentioned is for the same you give have charged me which I haven’t done.
  7. Frustrated from your pathetic service I again called customer care to please look into my matter and solve this and while talking to one customer care she directly cut my phone after saying “CALL KARNE KE LIYE DHANYAWAD”  before even giving any solution to it. Then I again called to your so called customer care I requested her to tell me the name of previous customer care the lady customer care directly denies that there was no call made by you this morning and this is the first call you have madeI brief her about he incident and requested her to file a complaint against her. Then you guys block my number and I was not able to contact anyone, as there was no internet at time so calling was the only option but you people were so irresponsible to solve my query that you block my only source of contact. So, I took help from one of my friend living in Pune to call you people and asking the same but you were so irresponsible that you again gave same excuse to visit nearest center
  8. After my sim block the messages stopped automatically, but the charges which I am not supposed to pay are on me.

    really don’t like your service it is pathetic as hell.  It is not worth to even get a new connection from your network. I have never seen such a blunder and uneducated people to help customers.I mean what kind of mindset your staff has. Do you thing ki HAAN JANTA KO PAAGL BANA LETE HAI ??

  9. Regarding to all my statements written above you can verify it from my call records to customer care, SMS for UPC  which is a proof to entertain my allegations against you.( Here third person is IDEA CELLULAR )

    really want to deal with this issue, as I am a student so traveling that too for which I am not claimed off is not worth.
