Text of Complaint by Shawn Sequeira:

Dear consumer dispute team

This is to bring to your attention that I dialed Vodafone toll free number 198 three times to know the reason my balance was zero. On 2 occasion I was abruptly disconnected by the representative.
The 3rd representative mentioned that my balance is deducted because I have consumed data when I switched to a new handset.
As I had not subscribed for internet and data services and not used any apps i was unfairly charged for the same.
I was provided an email address
I am not provided with any  vodafonecare.mum@vodafoneidea.com  to dispute the charge. However the email bounced. I am asking Vodafone the application browsed by me. But they refused to give me the information nor are they reinstating the balance
Whilst recharging my balance I was given to understand that there is no validity period. I received SMS asking to recharge to renew my validity after a month.
I strongly dispute the deduction of my balance if i have not consumed any data restoration of my balance prior to the so called data usage as claimed by them.
