Text of Complaint by Aryaveer Singh Dabas:

I charged my rapido wallet with 200/- I was able to book 1 auto rickshaw with this at 42/- and a sum of 158/- was still left , I am no longer able to use these funds , as it says funds unavailable for ride , when I contacted support from the company regarding the same I was told I can use it only for bike rides now (which I don’t use) or it could be refund to source account, the source account In this case is a wallet based UPI app known as fampay or famx, with vpa {my mobile number}@fam , it is not associated with any bank account and hence doesn’t have documentation like passbook or cheque book , I was told to email a canceled cheque , a photo of pass book, to have the refund to my source account, when I said I don’t have these because of the type of payment source I used they said that they can’t refund to my payment source then and can only help me if I have a bank account (which I don’t) . Moreover today 27/02/24 I was shown a fare of 48/- for a ride but at the end I was charged 56/- , and when I contacted support regarding this they said the driver took a different route but as per my observation the driver used the directions provided by the apps GPS, and rhey said as per rapido policy we cannot refund the extra sum.
Total dispute amount is 166/- (158+8) .
