I am using Vodafone (earlier Idea) postpaid sim card for more than past 2 years. I am using this sim card for making ISD calls as a part of my day to day work. But I got excessive bill for the ISD calls usage in previous month. I can see in the bill, I have been charged a whopping 550 rupees per minute for ISD calls. I have been using the same postpaid plan from last two years and making ISD calls every month, but the charges for ISD calls never been this high. The maximum charges for ISD calls I have been charged before is 12 rupees per minute, same has been told by Vodafone/Idea company executive while buying this postpaid plan. I have raised the complaint to Vodafone care but there are giving the reason that the ‘ISD 0 free component service was deactivated’, but the thing is I have never asked Vodafone to deactivate this service, neither they gave me any message/warning that this service is going to be deactivate, then how can I know that this service is deactivated and I would need to pay extra for ISD call?
There is no reason to deactivate this kind of important service which is going to cost me a lot than usual in middle of bill cycle. I have been paying all my bills time to time, I don’s ask them to deactivate the service, they didn’t give any warning/message related to deactivating this service and in postpaid bill I can see they are charging me 550 rupees per minute for ISD call. Also, from yesterday, Vodafone withdrawn all services from my number and incoming as well as outgoing calls have blocked on my number. I have not heard any thing from Vodafone from past two days, as I am sending them mails. I am attaching the the bill in which you can see the ISD charges.
