Changing Tariff plan from prepaid to Post paid by using unfair trade practice( Relief requested: Waive off the bill & activate my SIM No)
Dear Sir/Madam,
My daughter had a SIM card from Idea Cellular now Vodafone Idea i.e VI since the year 2004. It was working on a prepaid tariff plan. On 14/15 Jan 2021 I made a request to the Vodafone store customer care executive located at Dwarka, New Delhi that the SIM on my daughter’s name be changed to my name.
I got my mobile SIM No changed from my daughter’s name to my name but while doing this the VI executive changed the tariff plan from prepaid to postpaid plan of Rs 399+ GST without my consent.
Due to a change in plan I have been getting monthly bills in the range of Rs 450-550 per month whereas earlier I used to take a prepaid plan for Rs599/- for 84 days. i.e. approx expenses of Rs200/- per month. Since 14/15 Jan 2021 , I have made requests several times to Vodafone executives/Customer Care executives to change my plan to prepaid but they always gave me an excuse that this is not possible & I was forced to carry on with a postpaid plan .
Changing the tariff plan of my SIM from prepaid to post paid amounts to using unfair trade practice by your company staff. & thus causing me financial loss.
I request that the tariff plan of my SIM be changed immediately to prepaid plan. The bill raised on my SIM by using unfair trade practice be waived off. My SIM has been blocked, it may please be made active.
If this is not feasible then this email be treated as my notice to Vodafone company to surrender my SIM No .
