Dear Sir/madam,
I purchased a Bosch Fully automatic Front Loading Washing Machine (Rs. 26,799) from Amazon on 22 January 2020 under “The Great Indian Sale 19-22 January 2020” which offered 10% (upto Rs. 1500) instant bank discount + 5% Amazon Pay cashback (unlimited) + additional 5% Amazon Pay cashback (on purchase of above Rs 25000) (unlimited), if transacted through SBI YONO app. I followed all the eligibilty conditions and got Rs 1500 instant bank discount on SBI credit card payment. But Amazon has not issued any cashback even after many complaints raised on their customer care, and more than 5 months have passed. On contacting Amazon, the managment shared the terms & conditions of June 2020 SBI-Amazon offer which is the case of misinforming the customer. They have also communicated that the previous orders have been cancelled hence the cashback can’t be issued. But
1. earlier payment events were failed due to transaction error and no amount was deducted from bank, hence it can’t be termed as the “cancelled order” for the SBI card &
2. the original product was received in damaged condition hence it was replaced free of cost (order number 408-4442692-5677904 dated 26 January 2020) by the Amazon which can also not be termed as the “cancelled order”.
As the SBI credit card was used first time in the offer period, and instant discount was issued, which implies that the eligibility condition was fulfilled to avail the offer.
There is no condition of partial applicability of offer (eligible for Bank discount but ineligible for Amazon cash back) mentioned in the terms, hence the 5% + 5% Amazon cashback must be issued immediately by the Amazon. This kind of irresponsible behaviour from the Amazon side has caused sever mental harrasement and financial loss to me. I request to kindly resolve the matter to the earliest and make the arrangements to issue Amazon cashback.
