Lost my phone and sim card 22 days ago. Went to jio store for duplicate SIM and the store people told that the fingerprints are not matching. They asked me to update the fingerprint scan in Aadhar Uidai seva kendra. Updated my new fingerprints in seva kendra. It is already updated now, and the same was confirmed by the Aadhaar Uidai seva kendra. Already 22 days passed after giving new biometric details. Again went to jio store today. Fingerprints or biometrics not matching still. Went to 2 jio stores and they are all saying the same thing. Saw a similar complaint in this forum. So if we loose a jio sim we can’t get a duplicate like other service providers?

same situation is mine. From google i searched ” jio duplicate sim without fingerprint” Then it is seen that in official information (not on from any other site links) Four tabs came as accord.you can check.
How can I get SIM card without fingerprint?
For the convenience of mobile phone users the UIDAI has introduced a new rule in which people do not have to give fingerprints to local SIM retailer . From December 1, mobile phone users can choose to verify mobile SIM with Aadhaar without giving their biometrics to telecom service providers.
