Text of Complaint by Saravana Muthusamy K:

I have Rs.2002 as balance in gift card in my Flipkart account. When I select ‘gift cards’ as payment mode when placing order, Flipkart sends me an OTP as expected. When I input the OTP and click on ‘Verify’, it says ‘Oops! Something went wrong, please try again later’. I have tried this repeatedly. Same system response.
Raised it with Flipkart customer care. They called back a few times and told me what issue I was facing (!), that they were sorry for the issue and asked me to retry. They repeated the same every time. No solution provided. They mark the ticket as resolved without providing any solution. The web application does not allow me to reopen the tickets.
Now, whenever I try to contact a customer care team member through phone, the automated response directs me to raise it through the mobile app or web application neither of which give me a way to provide the details of the issue and raise the complaint.
