Text of Complaint by Rakshit Patni:

The complete list of events is as follows:

10.02.2024- I had ordered Aldo sneakers as a gift for my father by paying in advance with order ID FN7480508806.

11.02.2024- my fathers Birthday, I had called Ajio customer care to find out the status of my order and that is when I was informed that it would be delayed due to logistical issues.

14.02.2024- I received a message from Ajio informing me that my order has been cancelled as it out of inventory.

14.02.2024- Not minding the cancelled order, as I am a loyal customer I placed another order, again, paying in advance carrying the order ID as mentioned in the subject line.

16.02.2024- I receive a notification on my Ajio app informing me that the order has been delayed (not mentioning that it has been delayed indefinitely) without any proper reason or explanation for delay.

18.02.2024- I received a refund after a delay of 8 days (considering from the date of placing the order).
Panicking about my second order I call Ajio customer care helpline to know the status of delivery since I had not received an update regarding the same. After 4 unsuccessful attempts I was able to get through to one associate who told me that either the order will be delivered or I will get an update by 21.02.2024.

19.02.2024- the day of delivery of the order. Neither the order was delivered nor was the status on the app updated (which till date i.e. 21.02.2024, is mentioned the same date of deliver i.e. 19.02.2024)

20.02.2024- I had called the customer care again requesting for an update. The reply was the same and no email or message was delivered to me regarding the same.

21.02.2024 (End of business)- I called Ajio customer care requesting for an update regarding the same, completely apprising the customer care associate with the history of events occurred. The call was escalated and I was told to wait for another 2 days for a resolution on the same.

22.02.2024- I get a call from Syed, who I must say is not trained to handle aggrieved customers, from the backend team informing me that yet again Ajio has successfully disappointed me and that they will be cancelling the order after a wait of 8 days.
