Text of Complaint by Kavya:

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Kavya. On November 27, 2022 I’ve enrolled for a Post Graduate Program in Data Analytics and Data Science course on Skill Lync a edtech company.
I have paid Rs 5000/- as registration fees and i was informed about 22 months EMI of Rs. 7,045/month for 22 months. After that i followed every procedure of Eduvanz (loan partner of skill Lync)

Till the end of December 2022. I was a working professional and so thought of doing this course as I can manage 7045 EMI.
But unfortunately I lost my job due to layoffs. so I was left with only one option i.e cancelling the course.

I tried to request it from Priyanka from the financial team but she denied by saying cancellation policy is not available etc.

Note : Terms and conditions of skill lync where the policy is like : All course purchases are NON- REFUNDABLE on any type of payments made including, whether pre-booking, instalments or full payments.

When i did the all loan procedure from eduvanz where i signed a e-NACH mandate.
Provided them adhar card, pan card and e-NACH mandate signature on there form and submitted online.
And disbursal process was done but the money didn’t came in my bank account.
I just had to pay EMI’S. Which was not possible as i lost the job.

So i raised tickets on skill lync support system but it seems they are not willing to help and repeatedly saying cancellation is not possible.

And from thereon eduvanz people are calling me frequently and asking to pay the EMI.
They are continuously calling me for EMI and harassing me by saying our executive will visit your residential address for collection etc.

Now what to do..
Please need a help

I have no job right now and I cannot pay such a hefty amount.

  1. Hi Kavya, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We understand that a member of our team is in touch with you to understand and investigate your complaint. We appreciate your time and patience while we resolve your concern.

    1. It is very difficult to earn a livelihood. I’m jobless so I can not do this course anymore. Please cancel my course, if any happened to me, the total Skill Lync team is responsible for this.

      1. same situation for me also they are doing handsup my financial status also too weak .eduvanz keep on calling me and threatening so much of mental torture from them it’s kind doing fraud in the name of education

  2. Hi,

At the time of joining the sales person say any words to take the course. At the time of joining they gave me a false promises just by words to take the course. but now they told me you have any written documents or mails from our end. they asked me like that. so please be aware of this scammers group.

I visited their office recently they have the worst team in that. They just saying the same words repeatedly. we just internally check with team but they don’t conclude. they just want our money.

At the time of visiting their office, one person from Hyderabad came to their office to cancel the course. They make an appointment to visit in Saturday. but they told that person , the team is not present today you come to office between Monday- Friday. the person told me I’m came to Chennai for the particular reason but you told like that to visit in monday. They played with students life and emotions.

many of the students are cheated by the skill lync. search in linkedin or twitter like skill lync scam. mot of the students are scammed by the peoples of skill lync. No one take of this. we raised this issue to higher officials view. but i don’t know how it can be raised to reach that level.

Any one having some ideas please be post.

Tell every person from your relatives or friends or colleagues or any person told they want to join in skill lync. please don’t join the course. they are scammers. thats my humble request.

    Thanks for reading this

  3. Hi, this is not about skill lync but another company I took a course from, initially paid 20k, and loan amount disbursed is 2.5 L monthly EMI 10.5 for 24 months. The loan agency is Eduvanz. I had quit my job too and practically tried explaining the situation to them so many times its not even funny.
This just makes no sense, a big f*cking scam.
please lmk if you find a solution.
