This person introduced himself as Rohit Jain from the Amazon promotional team. He told me that I am a lucky winner based on one of my purchases. And I need to shop for things worth 5000 today and pick any one of the 5 prizes. All these prizes were TV ,Laptop,Phone,Refrigerator,A/C, all on the higher side. As the conversation went along he asked me to choose one of them, and he also said he will share the product code which I can add to my cart. Once this was done he asked me I need to do the purchase of Rs 5000 right away so that he can confirm the order, for which I told him that I will do it today. He said that it needs to be done at that time and suggested I purchase an Amazon Gift card. Later, he asked me to do the payment directly. By this time it was clear its a scam and in parallel also got it confirmed from a friend working in Amazon. Will be informing Amazon Customer Care. This could be a leakage of personal information from the seller of the product. Amazon should have strict amendments with sellers.
