My name is Natesh Patel. On 21/04/2024 using Red Bus App I booked 3 tickets for traveling from Nagpur to Sagar(MP) for date 04/05/2024 in bus name Amardeep Travels. I stay at Arvi which is approx.150km from Nagpur. On date 04/05/2024 at around 6.20 pm I reach the boarding point i.e Vikash Travels,Gitanjali Square and showed my online ticket to the person sitting at booking desk to confirm corretness of boarding point. He got shocked to see that my booking was showing seat no 1,2,3 all upper sleeper seats as he had himself booked the same seats today morning for some one else. He contacted the bus operators and by 6.34 pm I got a message that the bus is cancelled. Till that time also on Red Bus app my ticket was showing as confirmed. I contacted Red Bus customer care and they checked and informed me that the bus is cancelled, they can do nothing about it and they have initiated refund process of ticket cancellation. When I checked on Red Bus App Booking was open for Amardeep Travel from Nagpur to Sagar then how they are saying the bus got cancelled. The agent Vikas Travels gave my ticket to some one else, so the bus operator cancelled my ticket giving reason bus cancelled as he do not want to spoil his relation with travel agent.
I was standing at the boarding point in Nagpur, 150 kms away from my home with my wife and 2 children and red bus is saying they can do nothing.
Some how I could manage to get tickets by some other travel but this act on the part of Red Bus and bus operator is unethical. They both must be penalized for causing mental harrasment and mis treating the customers. I have message, screen shots, ticket to share if and when required.
It has been more than 20 days and refund still not received
